Ok, normally would not bother posting but seriously crap service. Ordered my sandwich at 3:40 on Saturday (I will take into account yes its game day, but shouldn't you be prepared by now?) and got a Vito sandwich and a regular Dr. Pepper. Waiting around for the order and then I call them because so far its been an hour for the delivery. When I call all I get from the employee is, I think the guy is leaving now. So sitting around and twenty minutes later the delivery guy finally shows up. So, freaky fast delivery in an hour and twenty minutes! Damn you guys are good! Then though the delivery guy goes "oh shoot I brought the wrong drink (diet coke), I'll be right back with the right one soon." So hour and half goes by and I decide to call to just take the charge off my order. The girl on the phone is like no problem we'll take it right off. Jump to three days later, charge is on my credit card for full amount. Normally, I wouldn't care but after the incompetency I'm pretty ticked. So I call today, they say can't reimburse me, it's too late...ya, that's why I called the day when it happened and you reassured me it wouldn't be charged, but okay. I didn't want credit because I don't want to eat here again. I'm not going to judge them solely on this one service incident, I also feel their sandwiches are not worth what you pay for them, I'll go to sheetz and get a 2 buck hoagie and it would be a lot better. There are so many better options, don't waste your time or taste buds.

The good subs and speed of delivery is put off by the person who answers the phone. How do you hire someone that acts like it is an inconvenience to take an order??? Probably would get more business if they had employees with some kind of people skills....

2.5 stars-- Best for a snack, or a light a meal. I really wanted Jimmy Johns to be my favorite hoagie in State College. I'm from Philly, and they are hoagies. But despite my mental effort, Jimmies still couldn't do it. Let's start with what they got right: The Bread. It's unbeee--liev--ably good. Soo good. MmmMmm.. Like you wake up the next day thinking about how good it was.. They have sprouts and avocado-- healthy! Cons: They are tiny!! Honestly, really tiny. Which can be a good thing because you won't overeat, but in this case, it's a bad thing because they are good, and I don't want 5 inches!! They don't make you a sandwich per your request for a set price-- if you deviate from the specifications with the turkey, they charge you. For example, if it doesn't come with cheese, they will charge you to put cheese on it, even though you could have swtiched meat (say ham instead of turkey) on a sandwich that does come with cheese, for free. Confusing, yes. Do I really care about the extra dollar? No. It's the principle that they don't tell you that that bothers me. Their turkey has a very odd taste to it. I mean, really odd. Not good lunch meat. I go back, but not nearly as much as I would if they made a few changes. I love that they have outdoor seating though, for the small time of year you can sit outside here! :-)

Definitely my favorite place to get sandwiches in State College. The bread is what makes the sandwich, hundreds of times better than Subway. Open late too, a good way to satisfy late-night cravings without going TOO overboard.

As far as a sandwich shop goes, this place is it. Open late, cheap, and absolutely delicious, fresh hoagies. Their rolls are amazing. Service is very fast as well. Great place to grab a quick bite.

I love this place. Yummy, big, cheap sandwiches with lots of fresh veggies. Delicious soft bread. Veggie sandwich comes with avocado. They also sell day old bread for cheap. Fast friendly service too!

I don't usually opt for sandwiches after a night out, but I went to Jimmy John's and I found that it was a good choice. It is much like Subway and Quiznos except that there arent many varieties of sandwiches. However, despite that small issue, the options they provide are just as worth it. They have great sandwich options along with chips, softdrinks and cookies. I chose the "Totally Tuna" sandwich and I was not dissapointed. Usually tuna sandwiches can be soggy and heavy on the mayo, but this had the perfect amount with crispy bread. Which brings me to another point about their bread. It is not soggy, or too hard and they have your standard white or wheat but also other interesting types. Seeing as it was about 2.30am there was no line. However this particular Jimmy John's is almost never crowded. Stop by sometime!

Don't count on this place for lunchtime delivery. Placed an order just before noon, received the confirmation at 12:01 PM. Left my office for a meeting at 1:02 PM and still no order. Upon my return at 1:35, low and behold there is my order on my desk. The only thing freaky about their delivery is how freaking long it took! Never again.

I'm not a huge fan of Jimmy John's, but my BFF who lives in State College loves it because there is perpendicular parking, and she can be in and out with sandwiches in hand in 5 minutes or less. This is huge when you've got a toddler in tow. When we arrived at lunch on Saturday, they were churning out the orders. 4 sandwiches in no time. Fresh ingredients, friendly service. Wish you could add more toppings to customize, but that would probably slow things down too much. They've got a front patio and a decent amount of seating inside.

The sandwiches are always well assembled and very quickly! There's always pleasant music playing and the employees are always in good spirits. It's much less stressful than subway because the sandwiches are pre-planned. Before getting my sandwich I thought it was over priced but for a consistently delicious sandwich I don't mind. The late hours are also very convenient so McDonald's is not the only option.

Yes. This was the first Jimmy John's I had ever had. Yes. My mind was blown. WAY better than Quizno's and on a totally different planet than Subway. The place is not only fun, it's pretty fast too. It's not quite as customizable as Subway, but that might be the only small drawback. The sandwiches are as fun as the setting and they have bunch of really great options. I went with the Beach Club. The meat and veggies are always very fresh. The bread is really what seems to make these sandwiches. So full of flavor and complements the fixings so well. The particular J.J.'s wasn't the fastest one ever, but it was damn good just as the other ones.
